When my son Noah was three months old, his aunt bought him a pair of shoes from a popular brand. I quickly realized I was about to encounter the same problem his sister Emily had faced as a baby. Both had adorable chubby feet that wouldn’t fit comfortably into any of the baby shoes on the market. Unfortunately, all the available shoes created the same difficulties; they’d leave an elastic mark around chunky ankles, or slip off of skinny ankles. There was also the inconvenience and cost of having to replace them every few months. It was evident that demand existed for a better solution. So, as a former sales executive in the luxury goods industry, I made the commitment to design the most versatile baby shoe in the world.
